I bred Heather my self from a shooting bitch I had, who had alot of the old Donegal blood from Eddie Fairman’s line in her.

Heather was bred to my brother Ned’s Int FTCh  Ardoon Bronco (this was a significant outcross) and though none of the pups made trials, a bitch pup from the litter who went to Dr Fred Byrne has proved the foundation for Edward Butler’s Hunshigo kennel.  On my advice Edward bred his IRSB Bellona of Rome – a grand-daughter of Heather’s to Red Stinger, a dog bred by my brother Ned and his pups have had some success in such far-flung places as Finland!
